Bead Snob Winner

Just before I left on vacation I stopped by to visit a new blog called Vintage Blue Studio. The title of the post that day was "Your such a snob...." A bead snob!!! I thought yes that is me. I left a post and entered the contest to win a "Bead Snob" button that Vintage Blue Studio made. I won!! It will be home waiting for me when I get there. Time goes by so fast when I come home to visit. I am really going to miss my sisters when head back south. I treausre the time we get to spend together. Today my Mom and I took a ride to Trade Winds Bead Store in Waterveliet. I picked up a tube of matte metallic sliver delicas to make a rivoli bracelet to go with the Etruscean Treasure Necklace I made. I bought the kit from Marcia Decoster on the Bead Cruise this year. I complained the whole time how I dislike right angle weave. The necklace is absolutely gorgeous. I had to buckle down and master right angle weave. I will have a matching set of earrings to complete the set. I am going to sparkle at the Bead & Button show this year! Speaking of the Bead Cruise there are only 2 spaces left!!! Don't miss the boat.

In Memory of Audrey Sunburn

I am sad beyond belief to hear that my dear friend Audrey has passed away. This weekend she was on my mind. It has been awhile since we heard from her. Audrey Sunburn was also know as "nahani" on the beading list. Audrey had such a kind and gentle heart. We were like sisters, friends and part of a family called BeadinBitchinBikerTurkeyBuzzardBeadinBabes. Tonight I recieved an email from her daughter Paula. She said her Mom passed away on Friday It brought home again: How short life is. You don't know what tomorrow will bring. If your thinking about someone you haven't heard from in awhile...don't wait. Call or send an email. Let them know your thinking about them. Don't wait for tomorrow they may not be here. So to you all my dear friends who stop by to see what is going on at No Easy Beads and know me as Bevvie, Bev or Beverly I haven't forgotten about you. Life has gotten in the way and I am going to work on changing that. Know that you are always in my heart and prayers.
