Tonight I finished the 3rd Dragonfly with Swarovski and Vintaj brass components. Copper crystal rondells accent the brass necklace chain. For being someone who says "I don't like to make the same twice" I seem to have created quite a few dragonflies. The part I have enjoyed the most is designing the necklaces to suspend them from. I have a confession to make. I used the Wildfire thread to make the dragonflies. I figured out what my problem was the first time I used it. My beading needle was too big. Something as simple as using a different size needle made all the difference with the performance of the thread. In my future I see a trip to Micheal's with my 40% off coupon to buy more. It looks like it is going to be busy weekend. Tomorrow is our bead society meeting. Along with being Mother's Day on Sunday it also my husband's birthday. I promised Art his favorite pizza for supper tomorrow night. It's a hour's drive there and back again to pick up the pizza. He is worth it. Sunday we are invited to my friend Sally's for a Mother's day BBQ. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

Just love these dragonflies! I don't think I could chose a favorite, they are beautiful.

Thanks Rosanne. I measured one tonight. The 2 large wings have a 4 inch span. The body from the tip to to the tail measures 3 inches.
