You Need to See

If your going to bead you need to see. The right eye glass prescription makes all the difference in the world when you are trying to see those tiny beads. Take care to choose a good Ophthalmologist(Eye M.D.s) who specialize in eye and vision care. I found out that sun damage to the eyes is linked to Macular Degeneration and cataracts. The Dr. who did my exam was very thorough. I am now sporting transition and progressive lenses and I can see those beads!! I couldn't pass up the bling. The frames are bronze with tiny crystals accents. Be good to your eyes. Get them checked once a year.

Sweet glasses! Glad you can see those tiny beads we work with again :D My bifocals saved my beading career (tried progressives but those aren't for me).

never could get used to the progressives... Like that bit of bling to the glasses your pink friend is wearing! My yearly eye apt. needs to be made - can't read road signs at a distance anymore.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that bling and I love those glasses.

Carol I have had trifocals with transitions for 10+ years. Some were hard to get use too, others worked like a charm as soon as I put them on.
Judith go get those eyes checked. You want to borrow my pink friend to take a picture of your new glasses when you get them? *grin*
Rosanne you got that song stuck in my head!

I'm waiting for my new glasses to be made - it is such a pain not being able to see properly. Great bling!

Renate, I hope you are as happy with you glasses as I am with mine. It took 2 weeks for my glasses to arrive.

Too funny! I too just got new 'bling' frames a few months ago. The optician tried to talk me out of such a 'fancy' frame - but when I explained to him what I do for a living (bead store owner)-he heartily agreed that they were indeed perfect for me. Yay for bling and great eyesight - all in one package!

Actually, health insurance plans only allow for an eye exam once every 2 years.

Diane we are lucky to have good insurance for eye care. They cover an exam once a year.
