The weather was calm by Lake Ponchatrain.
Looking towards the Mississippi River we watched the storm roll in.
Can you see the rain wall? The worse of the storm just missed us. All we got was a few sprinkles.
Renate we were hoping for rain as it cools things down for a brief time. It has been a very hot summer in the south. Today we have rain with thunder and lighting.
Well, Bev, the same thing happens to us. Storm clouds gather, then all the rain moves down to El Paso. And it is supposed to be our "rainy" season . . .

I hate when that happens :o) The sky looks like it's going to be really nice to you...And then nothing...It's such a let down...
It did cool down quite a bit for those few minutes when the sky was gray. I was ready for thunder storm.
Do I understand correctly that you were hoping it would rain? I'd love to send you some!!!!!
