On my bead table lies Dragonscales. I love the texture the long drop beads give this design. The pattern is by Nancy Jones. You will find it in the latest issue Beadwork magazine.
got my copy yesterday and funny thing is I was eying that project myself. Now I just need to figure out how to string those beads for a crochet rope so they all go in one direction. Love your colors.
Courtney it will be a bracelet. Thanks LeAnn! Judith after making this bracelet you see how well these beads will work with bead crochet. I can't wait to try them with a hook.
I just love that pattern too. Although I'm pretty stubborn to use my current stash of beads before bringing more in my house... someday I might not be able to resist the urge to make that one.
Doreen the bracelet is worked in a brick stitch. The It's called Dragon Bangle in the magazine. I am calling mine dragonscales. *grin* Make sure you use Fireline otherwise the thread will break.
