First it started with a desire.
A design began to take shape as the first beads were added. Visions of surface embellishments are forming to complete the design. The attention to detail makes all the difference.
Looks like I am in good company with my late night beading hours. Check out "The Lone Beader" She is building a
DeLorean. The attention to detail on her vehicle is out of this world.

Thanks for mentioning me!! You are so right! Any vision can start to take shape with just a few beads! But it is the details that make or break the piece! In my case, there seems to be many details! Its sometimes scary to try to make it work, but it's worth it in the end. (I hope!) :o
(And yes, I was up til 2.30am last night detailing my car! LOL)
This is beautiful. I am trying to do my first beaded cabochon, but I have not had much success. I have a turquoise cabochon, and I glued it to a piece of felt and started going around it with some size 15 seed beads by sewing the beads down to the felt, but it seemed like there was too much space between the beads. As I put on my second row, some of them seemed to fall down into the first row.
Bev, this promises to be magnificent! Simply beautiful colors, textures, and design!
oh my! can't wait to see the end result! this looks gorgeous!!!!
