Bead Tube Tower

I am always on a quest for a better way to store my seed beads. I think I found it with the new Bead Tower Storage by Bead Smith. I bought mine from Cindy's Crafts. Of course I no longer have 3 & 6 tubes. I traded them for flip-top containers when I bought my bead pavilions. They look great filled with beads but I found it hard to access my beads with the pavilions stored back to back on a shelf. Traveling with this kind of storage system is out of the question. I will be saving my money for more. I think these things are better than sliced cheese! Without further a-do a video showing you the Bead Tower Storage.

Excuse my frog. I spent the better part of the night at a neighborhood watch block party, outside in 40 degree temperatures. P.S. If you have seed beads tubes you would like to recycle I would gladly pay postage to take them off your hands.

nice! i need to get me some of those! i'll have to look bead smith up on my 'puter and see if they list stores to buy them in my area. all my tubes are thrown in freezer size bags into a shopping bag. i don't have that many beads yet, but this system is definitely not working for me. thanks for sharing that!

nice system, but with over 1,500 large flip-tops I can't see myself swapping over. Won't the elastics give enough to use flip-tops in that system?

These are great! I have two and boy, did it make life easy. I plan on having one for every type of bead I have. They aren't easy to find, not everyone is carrying them yet...but they have them for a great price over at Gemorama.com....though I just checked and they are out of stock right now. If that doesn't speak to how great they are I don't know what does.

Love the video - did you make it with your flip?? I love the Bead Tube Tower I am off to get me some - what a great idea. I have mine in large plastic boxes - takes up tons of room and I can never find the color I am looking for!!! Thanks!

Jean I love that flipvideo of mine!
You will love the bead towers. It will be like having a palette of colors in beads at your finger tips.

Judith the flip tops won't fit in the small elastic circles. That would be perfect if they did.

I have a bunch of tubes that need to be recycled. I don't use them anymore. Most have stickers on them though (store name, bead type, etc). I'm happy to send them if you'd like

I got my bead towers and I love them - I only ordered 2 - wish I got more I put in my size 11's in one and my 8's in the other - still lots of tubes left and I have a lot of size 6's too, so I will need to order at least 2 or 3 more. I love the fact I can see all of the tubes at one time and really pick out my colors for a project - I also now know what colors I am running low on - this was such a great find! What I really love is just folding up the tower and putting it into the carrying case - I travel from NJ to PA a lot and this will be so much easier. Thanks Bev!!!!!!

Jean, I am thrilled with my 2 towers. It didn't take long to fill them up. I am going to get at least 2 more also. Escaping during hurricane with my just became easier!

I completely stopped storing beads in tubes. I use ziploc bags, only because I don't have the space for anything like that in my tiny apartment. But, my ziploc storage method has worked pretty well over the past couple of years!

For Bead tubes try a search for shot tubes (drinks) you can buy them bulk, buy caps separately, and are still cheaper than regular bead tubes have been for awhile. sadly I've only found them in 5" but thats better than 3" or 4".

The Bead Tube Tower 2 is available at Red Panda Beads (online). That one is for storing flip tubes. It looks awesome.
