First Day of Summer
It is officially the first day of summer (yesterday). Where did spring go? It has been hot and humid in the south. I finished the bracelet to match the Etruscean Treasure necklace. The set is now to complete to wear to my daughter's wedding in July. The plane tickets are bought and I am ready for another week in Michigan.
Last week Ann Tisdale ask about a pattern I taught at the Arkansas Beadcave II . She called it the Sunday bracelet because I taught it on Sunday morning before we all left. That didn't ring a bell! After a little researching the girls from Arkansas helped me to remember the bracelet. Seven years ago RAW (right angle weave) was a technique I could not wrap my brain around. This bracelet was created with RAW done my way. It was really difficult not to fall into the right technique as I re-created the bracelet. Oh my how my instruction writing has improved over the years!!
This post has brought many wonderful memories of Beadcaves, bead retreats and bead visits. Stop by Marcie's Manor. Marice I miss you and the beadtrekers!!! I hope all our paths will cross again in the fall.

Wow, That set is absolutely STUNNING. I am sitting at the computer with my mouth open it's soooooo gorgeous :O)
You will be the best looking mother of the bride! I just love the set. Miss you.
Thanks Staci. We were lucky to have Marcia DeCoster teach with us on the Bead Cruise. I am so glad I bought the Etruscean kit from her.
And Rosanne you be the best looking Aunt of the Bride! Can't wait to see you. Time is flying. Mom and I will be home before you know it.
Oh, the memories of those early ABC's.... grins, and arguing over "some" of your written instructions. I miss all of the Trekers too.
Bev the Etruscean set is beautiful - I have a hard time with RAW too - I am good on the first row but then things go south!!
What a wonderful set of jewels to bedeck yourself with on your daughter's special day :D Just beautiful, Bev! Hope everything is glorious, as those days should be!
