I had the time of my life this year on the cruise. What a great way to spend 5 days with family and beady friends. "Bravo" Heather all the hard work you put into planning this event showed with its success!

I have had the pleasure of watching my daughter Heather Powers grow as an Artist. With that comes the honor of seeing new projects and beads getting ready for public consumption. Knowing how full Heather's life is, I often wonder how she fits it all in, raising a family, running a business, planning beadcruises and coordinating events. Heather is a freelance children's book illustrator, SCBWI regional advisor and bead artist by day. On top of all that we have added one more thing to the mix. "Bead Week".
Our goal is to have people all over the world celebrate the beading arts during the week of May 20th through the 26th. We hope you join us in this endeavour.
