In a previous post I asked What's on your beading table?
My friend Sally and I picked a project from Bead & Button April 2009 Issue #90. Called Creative Networking. Design by Aasia Hamid. Sally worked hers in a black, silver and red colorway. I am making mine as gift for someone special. I used Faceted Pearls from Rings and Things. Matte and Nickel Plated Bronze Plum seed beads from Artbeads.com.
It is very important to me as an Artist to respect the copyrights on patterns and designs from other artist. Just as I hope that others will respect the copyrights on my designs. It is as simple as saying design or pattern by *name the designer*. Project completed by *You*.

Something For Me
Corset Stitch Kit by Kate McKinnon
There were only five available and I had to have one. A beautiful hand-forged fine silver Ball End Clasp was part of the kit. The instructions were clear and well written.
I love the magic Kate creates with metal clay. If you would like to explore and learn how to work in an safe environment with this media get Kate's new book Sculptural Metal Clay.
Kate is in the process of working with Interweave Press on a new book. "The Jewelry Architect" to be released December 2010.
I am dazzled by Kate McKinnon's work.
Thanks for stopping by.
