Bead Table Wednesday

Inspiration!!

This is just what I needed to get back into a creative mode. My beadwork has been hiding in a box for over a month. This week I unpacked my favorite pieces and carefully placed them on my beadboards. Now when I sit at my table to bead I am inspired by the colors, textures, different shapes and sizes of the beads I use to create with. What are those boards made out of? They are frames use to make Grandfather clocks. They didn't pass inspection at the factory and were discarded. I was lucky enough to know someone who worked there many years ago. Rosanne and I figured out a way to use them in our booth when we did shows. I miss those days!

Thanks for stopping by.

HELLO,BEV:-)
I like Your work place very much. This is the fantastic idea to use those parts of the 'Grandfather Clocks' as a display for Your beadwork.Looking at the sets,You can be inspred very well and it also looks very decorative. My beadwork is still in boxes, but I look into them very often to get inspired. Also my collection of books is very helpful.
It's nice to see, that You are coming back to beading.

Oh, wow, that is a beautiful display. So nice to be able to sit down at your beading space and look up to see your work. I am happy to hear you are settling in. I know oh so well how it can take a while.

Thanks for stopping Halinka and the kind words. My bead room is also the guest bedroom when company comes to visit. It's a great way to keep things functional.

LeAnn it has been hard settling in. Everything changes once it goes into a box and come out again. I hope you are settle in.

Danielle, you could use any kind of frame. Cut foam board and cover it with a linen type cloth and your ready to pin your inspiration on display.

What a great idea. As soon as I move I can get my bead work out and put it on a board to get going again. The artistic way of display is nice to look at as well as inspiring, so I am ready to create another piece of art to hang in my new place. Thanks for the idea!
